Ashlee Simpson and her hubby Pete Wentz recently celebrated her 24th birthday and according to People Magazine the theme was a "White Trash Throwdown" I don't know whether to be ashamed of my fellow white people today or snicker at the originality of the party....either way I guess it was fun for the Simpsons to get back down to the root of things.....
Ashlee wore Daisy Dukes and platform flip-flops with a bathing suit and a fake tattoo around her belly, while her sis Jess wore a crazy leopard-print dress that showed off a lot of cleavage. Nicole Ritchie and Christina Aguliera were also in attendance. And Dadager Joe Simpson even dressed up for the occasion in a cut off white tee with a mullet. I'll be awaiting the pics from this bday bash....
