Is the white house ready for a newborn??

The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, the Alaska governor said yesterday, in an announcement which could anger the extreme Christian right within her party.Bristol Palin, one of John McCain's running mate's five children with husband, Todd, is five months pregnant and is going to going to keep the child and marry the father, the Palins said in a statement released yesterday.
In a statement, the Palins said: "We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us."
"Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and suppor
t," the Palins said.
"Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realise very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family. We ask the media, respect our daughter and Levi's privacy as has always been the tradition of children of candidates," the statement concluded.

Senior McCain campaign officials said the presidential candidate knew of Bristol's pregnancy when he selected Mrs Palin last week and that he decided that it did not disqualify the 44-year-old governor in any way.
However, sceptics of Mr McCain's choice will raise questions of how thoroughly he vetted Mrs Palin before choosing her.
Mr McCain has already admitted to having met Mrs Palin, who has only been a governor for 20 months, just once.

This all comes after internet rumors flew that the baby Palin had back in April was actually her daughters, and that Palin's husband Todd had been arrested nearly twenty years ago for a DUI, sounds like daytime television at it's best.
